DISPOSABLE: One woman’s twenty-year journey toward zero-waste

Ruba Bender has been trying to achieve a zero-waste lifestyle ever since she lived through the 1999 earthquake in Turkey. After seeing so much destruction, she was inspired to start making small changes in her own daily life. Yavuz Yilmazoglu, Zixun Wang, David Bogi, and Yike Cai created this report.
