‘Perfection’: Calling occupants of interplanetary craft. Beam us up!

If sci-fi has taught us one thing, it’s that anything is possible on Mars. A perfect adventure for ambitious Earthlings. Every kid wants to be an astronaut when they grow up. But being a Martian – it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Alexandra Alvaro spoke to a real life Martian for the lowdown on life on Mars.

Life as a Martian is tough. Being trapped in a habitat in the middle of a hot desert planet is not quite the adventurous life many astronaut wannabes might dream of. But for others, the prospect of escaping Earth’s gravity is irresistible. .
