Call for greater awareness after hiker deaths

Three overseas hikers died of hypothermia in September and October last year, with the death of a Chinese tourist in Tasmania's Cradle Mountain National Park, and two Chinese students on Mount Bogong, Victoria. Authorities are open to adding more safety measures to protect visitors in these areas, while experts say greater planning and safety awareness could help prevent future tragedies. Chi Zhang and Zhaolin Chen report.
