Jade is from the sunny state of Queensland and has recently moved to Melbourne to study in the Master of Journalism course at the University of Melbourne. She is the Editorial Assistant at the Centre for Advancing Journalism and makes it her job to be in the know about interesting projects from students and staff. She also has a keen interest in audio journalism and podcasting.
THE CITIZEN is a publication of the Centre for Advancing Journalism. It has several aims. Foremost, it is a teaching tool that showcases the work of the students in the University of Melbourne’s Master of Journalism and Master of International Journalism programs, giving them real-world experience in working for publication and to deadline.
