The hair-raising perversions of Australia’s forgotten musical genius

Few now know the name Percy Grainger. He was once hailed Australia’s best composer, but over the years his musical legacy was largely forgotten. Today, the University of Melbourne’s Grainger Museum reminds us of the man’s talent, as well as something else – his sexual perversions. In the final episode of our podcast Uncurated, a hank of human hair leads Nell Geraets and Mengjie Cai to unearth the forgotten passions and perversions of Percy Grainger.
