“Slutwalkers” strut their stuff

Thousands have gathered in Melbourne for “SlutWalk”, the annual protest against slut-shaming and victim blaming.

Video report by Kate Aubrey

The “SlutWalk” movement began in Canada in 2011 after a Toronto police official said that “women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimised”.

“SlutWalk” has also been celebrated in countries across Europe and Latin America, as well as in Israel, India and South Korea, reports Kate Aubrey.
