Schools tapping mindfulness to ease student stress

End-of-year exams make for one of the most stressful times for students everywhere. But exam pressure is just one of many challenges facing young people in Australia today.

Research has shown mindfulness can decrease stress and anxiety, which can affect up to one in six young people. 

Two Victorian schools that have introduced mindfulness programs are noticing major shifts in their culture.

Gillian Aeria and Kate Aubrey visited Geelong Grammar and Bentleigh Secondary College to see how students were taking to the initiative.
