Chinese professional shoppers empty Australian shelves of baby formula

In September, China Mengniu Dairy Company offered 1.5 billion AUD to buy Australian baby formula company Bellamy’s. The popularity of baby formula in China has buoyed the company and created big business for Daigou shoppers, who buy products in bulk to send back to mainland China.
