Appeals mount after student numbers cut
To release the pressures on housing and curb the practice of using student visas as a shortcut to a work visa, Australia's Department of Home Affairs has implemented measures to significantly reduce the number of international students studying at Australian universities.
The changes have brought criticism from the university sector and left many students in limbo, as they wait the the lengthy appeals process.
