Melbourne’s western suburbs were hard hit by serious flooding in late 2022, but as Shuya Wang reports, the clean up operation brought locals out in force. Working together, they removed significant amounts of plastic and rubbish to help not just the immediate recovery, but also to improve the health of the river environment for the future.
