Taboo: Leaving behind a pet’s dark past is no walk in the park

Greyhound racing is now banned in Canberra, after revelations of neglect and cruelty in the industry. This shadow haunts greyhound owners, who endure abuse just walking down the street with their pet. In the final of our Taboo series, Ben Silvester examines what it’s like to own a pet with a past.
